Today the doors of the shop stayed closed everyone that would usually be out an about seemed to be in the park and fun seemed to be the order of the day rather than shopping.

Whole families were building snow men and snow ladies and enjoying the snow!

So not much to report ……………but we hope to resume normal service Tuesday!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the Mill’s Blog
Today we delivered two new pieces of hand painted furniture into the store.
The original antique pieces have the most gorgeous handles and details.
It was a real pleasure in bringing these pieces of furniture into a new century and give them a new look and life rather than being destroyed – Recycle where ever possible – is our aim.
Who knows where these have sat in the past and what they have seen maybe a grand house maybe just a family home?
One piece is a dressing table and the other is a large carved cabinet.
Both wonderful pieces that I will be uploading onto the website.
The weather is due to be pretty harsh this weekend but let’s hope this is incorrect or at least that the sun will shine.
We will be putting out a new collection this weekend for the forthcoming Valentines Day – gorgeous soaps dressed in rose petals which are made by hand in the UK by Kemp Aromatherapy a wonderful small enterprise which prides itself on quality and design.
It’s time to support as many small UK businesses as possible including all our local stores to get through what looks to be a difficult time ahead .
The smallest purchase at all of your local stores makes a real difference and these stores are what make each local high street unique and keeps people in jobs that they often love.
Well the skies are clear today and Spring will be here soon we hope and with that comes new ideas and fresh beginnings which will beat away the blues.
